Congratulations to Indi: A Newborn Photography Session in Cloverdale

There’s nothing quite like the magic of welcoming a new baby into the world, and I had the privilege of capturing these precious moments for Indi and her family during their recent newborn photography session in Cloverdale, Surrey, near Vancouver.

Indi and her husband recently welcomed their second child, a beautiful baby girl, and it was such an honor to photograph their growing family. Mom and dad were both absolutely glowing with joy and pride as they introduced their little one to the world, and the love between them was evident in every shot.

Big brother was also there to share the moment, and his adorable excitement for his new baby sister was so heartwarming to witness. The sibling shots were some of my favorites—his gentle kisses and sweet smiles showed the bond that’s already forming between the two. It’s always special to capture the early moments of sibling relationships, and this session was no exception.

We focused on timeless, soft poses and neutral tones, allowing baby girl’s natural beauty to shine. The simplicity of the setup helped highlight her delicate features, from tiny fingers to peaceful expressions. Family portraits were also a key part of the session, capturing the love, connection, and joy that fills their home now that their family has grown by one more.

The entire session was filled with warmth and tenderness, and I feel so grateful to have been able to document this special time in their lives. Congratulations again to Indi, her husband, and big brother on the arrival of their baby girl! I’m sure she will bring even more love and joy into their already wonderful family.
