At Elizabeth Lang Photography, we’re privileged to capture the most beautiful and intimate moments of families, and today, we’re excited to share the story of Dan and Sydney as they welcome their precious baby girl, Charlie, into the world.
There’s nothing quite like the joy of capturing a newborn’s first moments — and Charlie’s session was filled with love, laughter, and endless sweetness.
A Beautiful Beginning
Dan and Sydney, first-time parents, were absolutely glowing with excitement and joy as they introduced little Charlie to the world. From the moment we began the session, it was clear that the bond they share with their new baby is one of pure love and devotion. Their smiles lit up the room as they gazed lovingly at their baby girl.
Charlie, though only a few days old, already has such a calm and gentle presence. With her soft, wispy hair and tiny hands, it was a delight to photograph each of his little features, from his serene sleeping face to the way his little fingers curled around his parents' hands.
Capturing the Little Moments
Newborn photography is about more than just posing – it’s about preserving the fleeting beauty of those first few days. We focused on capturing the tender moments that tell a story of love, care, and connection. Dan and Sydney’s natural affection for Charlie really shone through in each photograph, creating a timeless collection of images that will forever remind them of this special time.
The session was full of cuddles, giggles, and even a few peaceful moments where Charlie drifted off to sleep in her parents' arms.

As we wrapped up the session, it was impossible not to feel a deep sense of gratitude for being part of such an important milestone in Dan and Sydney’s lives. Newborn sessions are always a celebration, but this one felt especially poignant — a family, just beginning their journey together with their little bundle of joy.
