Every year, one of my favourite sessions to offer is Mommy & Me Minis. As moms, we are often the ones taking the photos, organizing the outfits, and making sure everyone else is ready. These sessions are a chance to step into the frame and capture this season of life with the people you love most.

This year's Mommy & Me Minis took place in my Cloverdale studio and focused on simple, timeless portraits. We kept everything clean, bright, and classic with mostly white setups designed to keep the focus where it belongs: on your family.


Chrystal and her family wore jeans and white t shirts and I Love how it all turned out! It has a classic look but it's very current and stylish.



Surrey Families had the opportunity to be photographed against a crisp white wall and floor, on simple white blocks, on a cozy white couch, and surrounded by softly draped white fabric. The result was a collection of beautiful, updated family portraits that feel elegant and timeless without being overly posed or trendy.

Although the sessions were called Mommy & Me Minis, dads were welcome to jump in for a few photos too. It was wonderful to capture not only mothers with their children, but also complete family portraits that everyone can enjoy for years to come.



These 25-minute studio sessions were designed to be relaxed and efficient, making them perfect for families with young children while still providing a variety of images and setups. From tiny toddlers snuggled in their mother's arms to older children wrapping their arms around mom and dad, every family brought their own personality and connection to the session.

One thing I love about a simple white studio setup is that it never goes out of style. Years from now, these images will still feel fresh, classic, and focused on the people in them rather than the props or background.



Thank you to all the wonderful families who joined me for Mommy & Me Minis this year. It was such a joy to see familiar faces and meet new families. These portraits are a beautiful reminder that every stage of parenthood deserves to be documented, whether your children are babies, toddlers, teenagers, or grown.
