Cherry Blossom Photography in Cloverdale: A Special Spring Session

Cherry blossom season is always such a beautiful time of year, but it can be a bit tricky to find the perfect tree. As a photographer, I'm always on the lookout for that one special tree—one that's uncared for, where the branches gracefully fall to the ground. These are ideal because the low-hanging flowers are perfect for little ones, creating a dreamy, intimate setting.
I also look for trees that can be backlit in the evening, adding a soft, glowing effect to the photos, and of course, it has to be on public property and easily accessible. After some searching, I finally found the perfect spot in Cloverdale—and it was absolutely worth the wait.
For this session, I was lucky enough to have my lovely model, Jina, along with her adorable twins, Venya and Zaryn. They’ve been loyal clients of mine for years and have attended many sessions, so it was wonderful to see them once again in the midst of these stunning cherry blossoms.
The combination of the gorgeous blooms, the perfect lighting, and the sweetest little models made for a memorable photoshoot. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do, capturing families in the beauty of nature, especially during such a fleeting season.
